As we did in 2008, we will split the
season into 2 parts. Each person who signs up as a Team Owner
in our League needs to include a $40 entry fee with their entry
for the 1st half of the season. No other charges! Entry forms
and fees can be turned into the Centennial Steakhouse (Race
Headquarters) no later than Wednesday Feb. 11th, 2009. The 1st
Race of the 2009 NASCAR Season will begin with the Daytona 500
on Feb 15th and end with Race #19 at Chicagoland on July 11th,
2009.
The second season will permit Owners to choose a new Team and
pay another $40 entry fee… The second season will begin
with NASCAR Race #20 at Indianapolis on July 26thth, and end
with #36 on November 22nd at Honestead, Fl. The
reason for changing the length of the 2 halves is there’s
an off week between those 2 races. This gives everyone more
time to enter.
SIGN-UP DEADLINE FOR 2nd HALF IS WEDNESDAY
JULY 22nd.
Each owner chooses 5 drivers. One (1) from each
of the 5 columns with the list supplied.
Once an Entry Form is accepted at Race Headquarters, that will
become your Team for Race #1, The Daytona 500 on Feb 15, 2009.
TRADES: Each Owner can make Five (5) trades
during this Season. They may be used any time during the season.
Trades can be submitted to Race Headquarters, by midnight on
Wednesday prior to the next race via trade form, phone call
or preferably by e-mail to Willcock1@juno.com
If you decide to trade a driver in Col A. you need to pick another
driver from Col A.
PAYOFFS: The number of Owners will determine
the payoff. The number of weekly payout places will be determined
after all entries are received, with a minimum of three (3).
The final payoffs for the first half are as follows. We will
pay one spot for every Seven (7) entries. Example, for 63 entries
there would be Nine(9) payoff spots. This will be determined
after we find out how many entries we have for the first half.
All the fees collected will be paid out in the payoffs.
ALL PAYOFFS MUST BE SIGNED FOR WHEN PICKED
UP AT CENTENNIAL STEAKHOUSE AND
SHOULD BE PICKED UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID LOSS.
SCORING: We score on a low-ball basis, based on Official
NASCAR finishing positions. So if your driver finishes in 2nd
place you get 2 points for that driver. The fewer points your
team scores the better.
We are attempting to put all pertinent info in each Packet.
PLEASE SAVE THESE PACKETS!
The Driver List will not change until our 2nd season begins.
We will send out new info packs sometime after race #20 for
the second half season. If you have any questions, check at
